GCSE Titration Calculation: KOH + HNO3 = KNO3 + H2O

Bookmark and Share

KOH + HNO3 = KNO3 + H2O

Required to determine the concentration of KOH.
The formula: (M1V1)/(M2V2) = mol1/mol2 is used
where m = concentration, v = volume and mol refers to the number of moles in the balanced equation.
You might prefer to use C instead of M for concentration, thus:
(C1V1)/(C2V2) = mol1/mol2

Apologies for the poor quality of video and very basic form of presentation.
